Buongiorno e buon Lunedì!

Immersi in questo bellissimo giorno di Primavera vi presento la mia nuova mini sciarpa di lana.

Questo filato l'ho acquistato lo scorso Autunno, mi sono innamorata di quelle bellissime calde sfumature; il filato si chiama Islanda ed è un filato biologico caratterizzato dal 70% da lana vergine e dal 30% da alpaca, una meraviglia agli occhi e al tatto.

In this beautiful day of Spring I've decided to present my new mini wool scarf.

I bought this yarn last Fall, I fell in love with those beautiful warm undertones; the yarn is called Islanda and it's an organic yarn characterized by a 70% wool and 30% alpaca, a marvel to the eyes and to the touch.
Con solo 100 g però cosa si può fare? Un collo? Una mini sciarpa? 

Allora ecco l'illuminazione: una sciarpa corta. Però non ero convinta di utilizzare esclusivamente maglie basse o maglie alte, così, sfogliando tra le mie riviste, ho trovato un punto fantasia (utilizzato per un maglione) che si realizza con una composizione di maglie alte, maglie alte chiuse assieme e catenelle.

Il risultato è un effetto "chunky" traforato. Molto bello.

Al termine del gomitolo effettivamente la sciarpa era veramente molto "mini". Così ho pensato di aggiungere delle frange alle due estremità, ho scelto un filato (anch'esso lana e alpaca) che avevo tra i miei avanzi, di colore grigio chiaro, un contrasto soft che schiarisce il tutto.

Come indossarla? Lasciata libera sul collo, oppure con un semplice nodo.

With only 100 g, however, what can you do? A wool-neck? A mini scarf?

So here is the idea: a short scarf. But I was not convinced to use only single crochet or double crochet, so, after searching through my magazines, I found a fantasy point (used for a sweater) which is achieved with a composition of double crochet, double crochet closed together and chains.

The result is a "chunky" perforated effect. Very beautiful.

When I crochet all the yarn I saw the scarf was really "mini". So I thought to add  fringes at both ends, I chose a yarn (also characterized by wool and alpaca) that I had in my leftovers, in light gray, a soft contrast that it brightens the whole work.

How to wear it? Free around your neck, or with a simple knot.

L'ho indossata in questi giorni con il piumino 100g di color grigio/ghiaccio assieme ad una delle mie borse preferite di Zara di qualche anno fa: camoscio rosso con borchie dorate.

I wore it in these days with my light grey 100g padded jacket and with one of my favorite bags, it's from Zara (old collection): red soft leather with gold studs.
